On May 29, 2023, the Amálie university farm became the venue for the Field Day for students of the secondary school of agriculture and the professional public for half a day. Specialists from FZP CZU, University Farm Estate Lány and the Research Institute for Soil and Water Conservation introduced several dozen participants to the concept of the so-called smart landscape. Directly in the field, they presented the installed measuring devices in the landscape, drainage regulation, variable fertilization and precision agriculture, the potential of agroforestry and soil conservation methods of management with regard to biodiversity.
